Week 64 pics

Week 64

well this week was a pretty rough week but we are still happy and hopeful and working like dogs we didn't have any investigators come to church... but me and my companion had talks in sacrament my talk was on finding a true testimony i tied it in with keeping the Sabbath day holy because these last couple weeks i have really focused on preparing myself to take the sacraments and to be worthy to receive the spirit in my life.

i know that when we prepare ourselves through out the week and we are reading the scriptures or saying our prayers and when we really live the gospel in our lives and were not just Mormons on Sunday.... that when we go to church on Sunday and we our humble and we have a heart of repentance that we really can be cleaned of our sins we really can have the spiritual strength that we need to go through out the rest of the week and to be protected from the worldly things! i know that were not going to be able to take with us our cars or our i phones but what we will take with us is through eternity is our testimony's i like what it says in the sacrament prayer that we our willing to take upon us the name of Jesus Christ and to keep his commandments we cant just do this on Sunday we need to do this through out all the week so that when Sunday comes around it truly is our favorite day of the week what i have been doing is trying to remember in my prayers to help me that i can be more worthy and that when Sunday comes that i can be reverent humble and that i can have the spirit with me and this Sunday i really felt the spirit more strongly than i ever have.

i invite yu all to prepare for the sabath day start right now and be determined that in sunday your going to make it a holy day and i promise that this day you will recieve more happiness and you and your families will be closer to one another and too God

le amo all of you thanks !!πŸ’šσΎ“©

Week 63

this week was a crazy week we really worked our butts off and we tried our hardest to have a good attitude!! and well we had some success we found 5 new investigators and we put baptismal date with them and they were progressing really good we had 7 people that told us that they were going to go to church and so we were pumped and happy that we did all we could so we did a fast so that all o them could come to church!!... only ! came to church... haha and we were kind of mad because its hard to fast in the mission we don't have very much money to and we always are hunger walking around all day so Sunday night we got to the house and i was kind of mad! not really mad but me and my companion just got going! how if we did all this and everything tried our hardest did not all of our investigators come to church and tell us hey we want to get baptized tomorrow haha we were just kind of me being ungrateful but then i was just thinking how ungrateful and inpatient i am that i do the fast and that same day if don't get the blessing im mad and i remembered a talk by the Prophet Enduring it well and that sometimes it is necessary to have trials and tribulations in our life and maybe im here in this area for a reason just too learn to have a good attitude and that sometimes i don't always get what i want no matter how hard i work looking back on this week i can honestly say that God blessed us to find some good investigators but he wants us to work our hardest and to do our part now and to work...work..work...

i love you all and im grateful for you guys and for everything you do for me :)
keep it up!! and have a good attitude !!:)

Week 62

this week was a good week we got to skype wohooooo it was good to see you all you all look amazing!! and super skinny! it was so good to skype thanks for everything it really helped me to get more focused and too get pumped up me and my companion are so pumped for this week im so motivated to be better and to just have a good attitude my attitude has gotten kind of bad in this area but im gonna change and im gonna have a better attitude and see everyone as Christ would this week i was reading in a liahona and i found this and i know that its just what i needed to help me out!

Having and maintaining a positive attitude, even in the face of setbacks and rejection, is a vital trait for becoming an effective missionary. The Mormon mission experience has rightly been called the best two years. But, in a lot of ways, it is also the hardest two years. And perhaps it is because it is so hard at times that it causes missionaries to grow and develop and have experiences that shapes their lives and make it a formative, best two years.
On your mission, there will be days (perhaps even weeks or months) where you feel like everyone is rejecting your message. You may feel like you are working so hard, and striving to be worthy, and trying to do the Lord’s will, yet you may not be seeing the fruits of your labor.  That can certainly be discouraging. But the missionaries who are able to maintain a positive attitude throughout those trials are certain to bounce back quicker, be happier, and be more successful instruments in the hands of the Lord.
i love you all and i know that attitude is everything if we can have a good attitude then we really will have success in our lives and thats my goal this week !!
thank you to all the mothers in my life you have blessed me more then you can ever know and you have changed my life i know what i need to do and the man that i need to be thanks to the great examples in my life
