Week 25 Area 1
i got a new companion this week he is super cool he is from panama he has 17 months in the mission he is a good missionary we get along super good hes a lot like me like my personality we teach good together and most importantly hes helping me a ton with my Spanish just in this week i feel like my Spanish has gotten a little better its still pretty hard but i study every day the language and hopefully by the end of this change i will feel pretty good with it we didn't have a baptism this week but next week were gonna have 2 my comp played professional soccer in panama and hes a stud he knows a lot of English too because in panama they speak English and Spanish so I'm helping him with his English too nothing to exciting happened this week just another work week but yesterday in church it was our ward conference and they called a new bishop Obispo Ortega he was the 2nd counselor i like him a lot hes super funny and is a good guy so were gonna start working more with him this next Saturday were gonna go to the temple again so I'm super pumped for that the temple here is so beautiful yesterday 2 of our lessons fell through and so we went with our mission leader and took a bed and a desk and a chair to a family that just barely moved here they got baptized like 2 weeks ago and they don't have anything literally it was a super good experience for me the son has 15 years and he lives with his grandma who is 85 and the 15 year old works to pay for the house when we gave her the stuff she started to cry and it really touched my heart and made me realize how awesome our church is for helping people in need for me that's whats most important that we help the sick and the homeless with all of our heart like Jesus did when he was here on this earth this week was a good week and i was happy but it was kind of rough i didn't speak hardly any English and i think it made me just a little homesick but whenever i feel homesick or sad which really is not very often i just try to forget my own needs and help others i love you i was watching a video of the Prophet Tommy Boy in the morning today and he was saying how he had a great childhood and he was always with his aunts and uncles and cousins and he felt like his aunts and uncles were just like his parents i miss you all and I'm super grateful for my family and how close we are when i get home and get married;)haha i want everyone in the family to be in the Temple with me i know that its hard but i want to challenge you to sit down as a family and analyze your lives this life is busy and its easy to get caught up in the worldly things sit down and talk about whats really important and that is family and progressing in this life to be better people and most united as a family i want you all in the Temple with me and more important i want to live with you forever in the celestial kingdom of our loving father in heaven
