Week 31 2nd Area Ermita!
well this week was a great week i got changed to a area that's called Narvarte although i will miss my old area and more importantly the awesome people there this new area is awesome haha its one of the most fresa areas in the mission its one of the nicest haha after changes president told me that he sent me to the area that has the best food for my stomach so I'm grateful for that and that my Pres. is looking out for me haha this area is really like almost 100% different then my last one we have a investigator and his house is super nice haha its like as nice as pole patch ;)my comps name is Elder Avila he is seriously the biggest stud i have ever met gosh its super sick because he has the same amount of time as me in the mission we were in the CCM together he is a convert of a year and a half he is the only one in his family who is baptized his girlfriend got him into the church ahaha shes on a mission right now too he is from chapas he doesn't know English at all so I'm helping him out so far all he knows is WHATS UP BRO and GOODNIGHT I LOVE YOU haha our house is decent haha its big and we have a little patch of carpet so I'm loving that we don't have a shower that works though we use a bucket and a little stick thing to heat up the water but its not as bad as i thought it would be haha when i got here my comp said our shower doesn't work and we wash our clothes with our hands and i told him well I'm gonna have to change that ahaha so in the week we talked to our investigator that has a big house and he said we could wash our clothes there and then i talked to the lady that we pay our rent and told her hey we don't have a shower and she said oh really why haven't you guys told me haha ill have some guys come and fix your shower this Thursday so hopefully we will have a shower soon but really its all good this week was super awesome we watched every session of conference at the stake center on a little laptop with about 10 güeros Americans this session HOLY CRUD!!! what a good conference and guess what i only fell asleep for like 3 minutes of it then the rest i was wide awake so I'm stoked on that i loved the talk about mothers that elder Nelson gave it was awesome and it really made me think of all the great mothers that i have in my life and how grateful i am for them and i liked the talk of Elder Bednar the last talk of the 2nd session yesterday it was super powerful and it really touched my heart conference is awesome and i learned a lot this conference i started today my weekly scripture that I'm going to memorize i wrote it down on a post it and put it on the front of my Book Of Mormon i invite all of you to do this i know that its not only gonna help me spiritually but its also going to help me to remember Spanish and to help the people here the good thing about this week that really helped me is that every time i introduced my self to people and told them how much time i have in the mission they all said wow your Spanish is so good our your parents Mexican haha and i always say no my dad speaks Spanish but he never helped me learn haha ;) and they all see i almost talk perfectly i defiantly still have along ways to go but this helped my confidence this week
