Week 58

This week has been a great wonderful work week...me and my companion Elder Preciado are just here working our hardest in the Lords vineyard we are learning alot and we are trying alot of new things to try to help the great people here in mexico if any of you have any ideas let me know☺there is alot of people who are just on the line of going to church and being active they just need one more good experience or to feel the spirit just a little stronger... we have been finding alot of new investigators but lots of them we teach them like one time and then nothing they are good people but they just cant see the need in there life for Jesus. but........ we have erendira and alejandro they are awesome they both want to get baptized and they have been to church 4 times only one more and they could get baptized but there not married erendira wants to get married but he isnt sure so please if you could all pray for them i know that God will answer our prayers and that they can receive this joy and happiness that we have in our lives!

I have a dvd with all the bible videos of jesus christ and this week in the night time i was able to watch some of the videos and it really just made me think alot and it strengthened my testimony and my desire to be better and to be a better deciple of Jesus Christ i think of Paul the apostle of Jesus and how hard it must of been when Jesus was hung on a tree.... but he kept going there was persecutions and the sacerdotes told him he could not preach or do miracles in the name of Jesus but he said i can not deny the things that i have seen i know that Jesus is the son of God and he just kept on going he was a great follower of Christ and i think of Joseph Smith and how he saw Christ the Lord and God the Father and he said the same i can not deny that i have seen God the Father and his Son and he testified and was a great follower of christ... and they both were killed.. i think to my self what did they know that we dont understand why cant we be more like them and i come to the conclusion.... that we can we can be as good as they were we can become everything that we want but we need to know what we want and who we want to become its like the prophets talk in conference he said if you dont know where you want to go. it doesnt really matter what path you take!! this has made me think alot about who i want to become.. our mission president told us that if we dont know who we want to be when we end our missions or if were just here passing time then we will not be the man that we want to be i know with all of my heart that thanks to Christ we can change i know that we can do or we can be anything that we want but we have to do our part we cant just say god help me to be a good man or bless me with this if we are not doing anything to change.... we need to do our part and God will always do his part this gospel is true and it is wonderful i know that in Jesus there is all power and we can all do miracles in his name 

i love you all so much and i want the best for you i plead with each and every one of you to kneel and to put goals and to do the little things to achieve your goals thank you all so much !!

Week 57

this week was a great week !! GENERAL CONFERENCE..... WOHOOOOOOOO it was so awesome its really the best thing in the whole world in the mission this week i have just really been thinking about how grateful i am for leaders and prophets in my life :) my old man is the best example and leader that i know i love him so much ever since i was a youngin;) he has taught me to be a good boy and to honor my priesthood !! im grateful for you dad! and then my young men leaders and my sports coaches and now my mission president and his wonderful wife sister Mecham :) they are such good examples to me and i know that God has put me here in mexico so that i can have these wonderful mission presidents they have helped me so much and i  consider them like my other set of parents and finally i am beyond grateful for prophets and apostles who receive revelation for me and for the things that i need in my life right now.  I can honestly say that this General Confernece helped me so much it just got me so pumped and I know that our father in heaven loves us my 2 favorite talks was the saturday night session Mervyn B. Arnold and sunday night session Jeffrey R Holland these really touched my heart and made me want to be a better person im so grateful for all of you and for everything that you are doing im so happy here and im doing my very hardest to do all i can for the Savior this week our mission president asked us to put some goals and one of them was a goal on how many times we want to read the book of mormon in our missions this week i just finished it for the second time and so i put a goal of 6 times in the mission i have to read 9 pages everyday and i can do it im so grateful for goals and i know that if we dont make them we're not going to progress i know with all of my heart that the book of mormon is true that is what has helped my conversion more then anything is reading the book of mormon everyday and i invite every single one of you to start it again it will bring more joy and hapiness to your lives then you can imagine my favorite quotes from General Confernece were from the Prophet "choose the hard right" and from Uchdorf "the best lideres our the best followers"

Week 56

it has been a very good week so here it was "semana santa" HOLY WEEK haha for easter and we had to be in the house at 7 at night on thursday friday and saturday but we were still able to teach alot of lessons..wohoooo!!! we had 2 investigators that came to church and that made me pretty happy becuase it has been like 2 months since investigators have came to church here in this area there names our erendira and her husband ahah cuz i forgot his name but they are so awesome they have 2 cute little girls who i just want to kiss and hug haha but i cant booo :/ haha they have a baby who only has like 8 months and then a 5 year old and they are so cute erendira her mom and dad and sisters just barely got baptized and she really wants to get baptized but shes not married and she lives with her boyfriend but he is awesome too so please please pray with all of your heart that they can get married we are really trying our hardest to teach eternal marriage and how happy there family can be and our last lesson went really good so.. i know a guy who can marry them for cheap so im gonna talk to him and on wendsday when we go visit them im jsut gonna be like hey i got the guy lets go its lall ready and then we can baptize them wohooo...we taught a guy who just got out of prision this week he has been there for 6 years and his family is member and he is a member and i cant tell you how strong th spirit was as we bore our testimonys on the healing power of christs atonement he told us he is going to come back to church.. and then last night we taught a 27 year old who is les active and it was a sad lesson he just wanted to argue with us and tell us that he doesnt need god in his life and stuff he was a really nice guy but he was jsut so lost and it was hard for me and my companion we just tried our hardest to tell him that we know that the gospel helps but he has kind of gone of the deep end but were gonna keep working with him and its all right because he gave us tamales after wich our my favorite wohooo 

this talk is what we shared with almost all of the less actives we taught this week that i cut out of a liahona and taped into my scriptures ahaha if there is one thing that i have learned and am still learning every single day its this that when the hard times come or maybe when we think im doing everythign right why is god not blessing me more that god knows us perfectly and he has greater plans for us sometimes its us that need to change that like  an umbrella we cant see the blessings in our live becasue we have sinds or questions every single one of us needs to learn to be obedient that god doesnt put these commandments and these things in our lives to punish us he does it cuz he loves us and he wants us to be happy."AND THE ONLY WAY TO FIND TRUE HAPPINESS IS TO OBEY GOD"

Week 55

this has been a great week full of lots of work i got changes my new area is called cedral its only like 15 minutes away from my other area my new companions name is Elder Preciado he is from Torion Mexico and he has 3 months in the mission our ward is really great but there is lots of less actives this week we taught 20 less actives which is probably more then i have taught in one week in my whole mission but me and my companion our pumped i really love the kid my companion is a really good dude and we get a long great!!! our bishop is a good dude really funny haha he only has been a member for 5 years and for 4 of the years he has been bishop and he has a mustache haha but this last week we our just trying to do everything possible to help the members and the presidency's of our ward! this week i have been studying and they talked a lot about the atonement in church yesterday because its almost Easter and i honestly cant even tell you all how glad and blessed i have been this last year on my mission i have come to know of a better knowledge of repentance and the lord has honestly shaped my life this past year as i have tried to help shape the life of others! this week i have shared this quote with a lot of people we have been teaching OUR DESTINY IS NOT DETERMINED BY THE NUMBER OF TIMES WE STUMBLE BUT BY BUT BY THE NUMBER OF TIMES WE RISE UP, DUST OURSELVES OFF, AND MOVE FORWARD.

i know that this is true i know that no matter how many times we fall down we can always get back up i know that falling down is not fun that committing sin may seem fun in the moment but it always leads to sadness and pain its much better to learn from your mistakes and to not make them again this is the only true gospel every single one of us has our own path and we are going to have to learn i plead with each of you to stay on the path that this is the only way to find happiness and joy in your life take it from me who hasn't always been in the path i cant explain to you all my happiness it is real i experience it every day as we visit people that haven't been to church in awhile i always ask them why and they tell me that something happened in there life usually its divorce i know that when these difficulties come if we stay true to the gospel and turn to our savoir Christ instead of give up the fight that we will find peace and love and joy in our life i thank thee all so much and i just want you to know that i love you and that i know that this church is true and that the  blessings are real
