Week 33 Enrique's Baptism
Great week here in beautiful Mexico its been pretty cold haha i cant catch a break now i have a cold but besides that what a great week we baptized Enrique Gonzalez on Saturday well our mission President did haha after the baptism we had a activity and cleaned our church and after ate tacos then watched Ephraim's Rescue what a sick movie it was super cool besides that we have just been working we are gonna have another baptism in 2 weeks because this next week we have stake conference well besides that haha life is good I'm happy i love being here sometimes its hard but i know that our father in heaven is watching over us and that this is his work i love you all and i know that its hard i have hard times in the mission i really do I'm not gonna lie sometimes i feel like my Spanish isn't as good as the other missionaries or that i don't know the scriptures like other people but the truth is that the most important thing to do that I'm learning and if you can do this as a missionary you will have success is love the people learn to show your love i love my companion he is a super good dude he is a recent convert of one year and a half but sometimes i just want to punch him in the face when i get impatient haha and i cant speak Spanish so I'm grateful for him and his patience with me haha in the video Ephraims Rescue i like it alot because Ephraim wasn't always the best kid haha just like me but when he came to know the truth he always tried to live worthy of his priesthood and to be a instrument in the lords hands and that's what I'm trying to do i love being a Mormon and i love sharing the gospel i am finding the most joy in all of my life

Week 32 Area 2
well what a week it has been my lovely friends i cant describe the joy i have felt this week it has been a miracle week haha so this week me and my companion were just trying to work really hard teach lots of lessons and teach new people we had a list of all of the less actives in our ward and we were searching them we knocked on a less actives door Brenda Gonzales and asked if we could share something with her her husband was there with her and he looks like Santa clause he is freaking sick haha i started talking with him i noticed he had a super cool guitar and right now I'm trying to learn the guitar so i asked him about it asked him if he new how to play he said a kind of not a ton he was being humble haha he picked up the guitar and he seriously is like professional so i guess back in the day he played the guitar on a little boat on a river for people haha anyways he is not a member his name is Enrique Gonzales we started talking i guess he has had all the lessons he has gone to church with his family for about a year because there all members we asked him why hes not baptized and he said ya know i was almost baptized but i had my interview with a elder and he told me i couldn't get baptized because i like to throw back a tequila every once in a while i could tell that he was discouraged i told him haha please don't get mad grandpa but i told him you know what you remind me a lot of my grandpa Enrique i think you guys would get along awesome he also has a Harley i told him my grandpa also likes to throw down a couple tequilas every once and awhile hahahe told me ya know what i want to get baptized but i also want to drink my tequila and play my guitar i told him well you know what you cant have both my friend trust me i know i told him he said i don't want to get baptized because i know maybe in a couple of months I'm gonna have a cerbaza i told him its not important the most important thing for us in this life is to get baptized while we are here i told him people make mistakes just because you get baptized doesn't mean you have to be perfect but i can tell that you want to be better its more important in this life that we are baptized by the priesthood of god so we can enter into the path to follow Christ i know that there's a lot of people that i know that are in this path they have made the covenants but they are not trying here best to follow them i know that when we follow our covenants the best that we can and follow our perfect example the lord Jesus Christ that our father in heaven will help us to be the people that we want to be....... anyways long story short he didn't want to have a interview with another Elder so i told him i could call my President and that he could have a special interview with him he said okay sounds good let me know so i called president and Saturday morning they had there interview they really hit it off president and our investigator they talked for about 2 hours and pres cam out of the interview and said lets baptize him he said that he was singing to president in the interview about god haha he is such a stud so good news this next Saturday we have a baptism at 12 wohoooo i know that everyone has there right time i know that maybe its not your time right now to follow Jesus Christ but i know that he is always here for you and that when you want to receive the blessing that our loving father has for us his arms are open to mold you into the person you want to be
i love missionary work after this we are going bowling with some other missionaries so I'm super pumped about that i love you all so much oh ya yesterday i bore my testimony in testimony meeting about families and that its the most important thing on this earth and that I'm here to help all of your families anyways a good good week for me thank you to everyone for making this possible that i can serve my Savior every single day

Week 31 2nd Area Ermita!
well this week was a great week i got changed to a area that's called Narvarte although i will miss my old area and more importantly the awesome people there this new area is awesome haha its one of the most fresa areas in the mission its one of the nicest haha after changes president told me that he sent me to the area that has the best food for my stomach so I'm grateful for that and that my Pres. is looking out for me haha this area is really like almost 100% different then my last one we have a investigator and his house is super nice haha its like as nice as pole patch ;)my comps name is Elder Avila he is seriously the biggest stud i have ever met gosh its super sick because he has the same amount of time as me in the mission we were in the CCM together he is a convert of a year and a half he is the only one in his family who is baptized his girlfriend got him into the church ahaha shes on a mission right now too he is from chapas he doesn't know English at all so I'm helping him out so far all he knows is WHATS UP BRO and GOODNIGHT I LOVE YOU haha our house is decent haha its big and we have a little patch of carpet so I'm loving that we don't have a shower that works though we use a bucket and a little stick thing to heat up the water but its not as bad as i thought it would be haha when i got here my comp said our shower doesn't work and we wash our clothes with our hands and i told him well I'm gonna have to change that ahaha so in the week we talked to our investigator that has a big house and he said we could wash our clothes there and then i talked to the lady that we pay our rent and told her hey we don't have a shower and she said oh really why haven't you guys told me haha ill have some guys come and fix your shower this Thursday so hopefully we will have a shower soon but really its all good this week was super awesome we watched every session of conference at the stake center on a little laptop with about 10 gรผeros Americans this session HOLY CRUD!!! what a good conference and guess what i only fell asleep for like 3 minutes of it then the rest i was wide awake so I'm stoked on that i loved the talk about mothers that elder Nelson gave it was awesome and it really made me think of all the great mothers that i have in my life and how grateful i am for them and i liked the talk of Elder Bednar the last talk of the 2nd session yesterday it was super powerful and it really touched my heart conference is awesome and i learned a lot this conference i started today my weekly scripture that I'm going to memorize i wrote it down on a post it and put it on the front of my Book Of Mormon i invite all of you to do this i know that its not only gonna help me spiritually but its also going to help me to remember Spanish and to help the people here the good thing about this week that really helped me is that every time i introduced my self to people and told them how much time i have in the mission they all said wow your Spanish is so good our your parents Mexican haha and i always say no my dad speaks Spanish but he never helped me learn haha ;) and they all see i almost talk perfectly i defiantly still have along ways to go but this helped my confidence this week
